Mother's Rays
Synthetic polymer paint on canvas. This painting is about maternal arms reaching out and encompassing us. SOLD 51cm x 40.5cm
Thank you. It is absolutely fabulous. We've put them in the reading corner - story/Dreamtime themed wall.
I commissioned Nina to do an original piece of artwork for my home and was thrilled with the beautiful painting I received. It’s rich vibrancy stands out with a multitude of patterns and colours that draws the eye and is the focal point of the room. It showcases Nina’s pride in her heritage and I’m incredibly proud to own such a stunning piece from a very talented artist.
Love Birds - The texture of this artwork is simple divine! Although this artwork does capture the eye, it compliments a room really well as it doesn’t overpower a space with intricate details. I particularly love the way Nina created an almost illusion with the beaks interlocking in a ‘kiss’. A lovely reminder of love.
I worked with Nina on the Singleton Community Weaving Project that represents the diverse range of people impacted by domestic and family violence. Nina was a delight to work with and demonstrated a strong understanding of the impacts of violence and how to translate that into a meaningful creative art installation.
Bracelet Weaving: Nina began with the history of weaving in Aboriginal culture. Her demonstrations were easy to follow. The lesson was both calming and enjoyable. Some students mastered bracelet weaving on their first attempt. Bracelet weaving is a skill that the students can take with them as a method of relaxation. From learning to weave the students could progress onto another of Nina’s lesson which is basket weaving. Thank you.

Mother’s Rays - A truly unique piece of authentic aboriginal artwork! This artwork blew me away, not just because of it’s stunning and intricate design but the fact that Nina created such a beautiful piece of art with an even more beautiful meaning behind it. The perfect piece to complete a nursery.
X-Ray Art: The Year 6 students at St Paul’s Primary School Rutherford thoroughly enjoyed Nina’s X-Ray art lesson. She provided a deep understanding of the Dreaming and the history of X-Ray art in Wonnarua country. Nina sequenced the lesson in such a way that each child produced magnificent X-Ray art. The students were engaged and empowered. Thank you so much.

After I had moved into my new home, I had searched and searched for 2 complementary artworks to tie in with my new living space. I had no luck finding what I was looking for so that is when I approached Nina to see if she could help me. I told her my vision and colour palette and off she went to create the most beautiful artworks I had seen. We were both as nervous as each other on reveal day but I was so excited at my perfect artworks that I cried. She understood my vision and delivered even more than I could have expected. Thank you Nina.
